Volunteer
Our volunteers play a vital role in carrying out our mission. We work to place our volunteers in roles that maximize their strengths and passions.
Volunteer opportunities that allow you to work directly with the kids take place Monday – Thursday 3:00-6:30pm and Friday 3:00-6:00pm and we ask that these volunteers are able to make a commitment of at least three months to ensure they are able to develop a strong rapport with the youth in our programming.
There are also opportunities to help with special projects, maintenance, or other areas that help The Hope in its day-to-day.
Recurring Opportunities
Applications available to volunteer with programming and organization support available below!
Event Opportunities
We also have opportunities to volunteer at various events throughout the year! Right now, we are looking for volunteers to help at this year’s Hope Golf Classic, set for June 22nd at Tiburon Golf Club. You can view roles and shifts below!
Are you interested in becoming a volunteer but unsure of what area? You can peruse some of the different areas in the linked brochure below. Afterward, complete the interest form below or email volunteer@hopecenterforkids.com and we will connect with you to talk about different opportunities!
MENTOR
The Hope Center for Kids is excited to about the expansion of our mentoring program in collaboration with Release Ministries!
With over 20 years of service in the Greater Omaha Community, Release has matched over 875 at-risk youth, ages 10-18, with a caring Christian adult for the purpose of developing a trusting relationship which is the foundation for bringing hope and empowerment to young lives.
Interested in becoming a Mentor to a Hope Center youth or child?
Release is looking for Christian mentors over the age of 18 who have a heart for struggling/at-risk youth. You will be their friend, guide, and advocate. These youth simply need someone to listen to them and be an example of what it means to live in relationship with the Lord.
