Volunteer
Our volunteers play a vital role in carrying out our mission. We work to place our volunteers in roles that maximize their strengths and passions.
Volunteer opportunities that allow you to work directly with the kids take place Monday – Thursday 3:00-6:30pm and Friday 3:00-6:00pm and we ask that these volunteers are able to make a commitment of at least three months to ensure they are able to develop a strong rapport with the youth in our programming.
There are many ways you can make an impact by serving our kids (K-12th grade) firsthand. You can see some of the volunteer opportunities in the volunteer brochure below!
We also have opportunities to volunteer at various events throughout the year! We do not have any volunteer roles listed at this moment but we will be adding some very soon! These roles will be updated on our POINT Page!
Are you interested in becoming a volunteer? Complete the interest form below or email volunteer@hopecenterforkids.com and we will connect with you to talk about the next steps!
MENTOR
The Hope Center for Kids is excited to about the expansion of our mentoring program in collaboration with Release Ministries!
With over 20 years of service in the Greater Omaha Community, Release has matched over 875 at-risk youth, ages 10-18, with a caring Christian adult for the purpose of developing a trusting relationship which is the foundation for bringing hope and empowerment to young lives.
Interested in becoming a Mentor to a Hope Center youth or child?
Release is looking for Christian mentors over the age of 18 who have a heart for struggling/at-risk youth. You will be their friend, guide, and advocate. These youth simply need someone to listen to them and be an example of what it means to live in relationship with the Lord.
